Paco Requena is a Spanish abstract painter who lives and works in the south of Spain. His work is based on simple geometric motifs that rebel against the intention of perfection and repeated patterns and evolve into imprecise shapes that break the harmony of the space. His work is intuitive without knowing the result until completing the work. The use of bright colours, influenced by the light of southern Spain. The sea, the sky, the sun, the fields… are part of his universe of colours and shapes transmitting emotions from simplicity.
